Jarcrac to unveil the new CW60 combi machine at FinnMETKO 2026
Finnish forest machine manufacturer Jarcrac Forest Finland Oy will unveil the new Jarcrac CW60 combi machine at FinnMETKO 2026. The new 8-wheel machine introduces a new platform to the Jarcrac product range, developed with a particular focus on operator comfort, performance and work efficiency.
The CW60 is Jarcrac’s new 8-wheel combi machine, introducing new features for professional thinning operations. Particular attention has been paid to operator comfort, performance and work efficiency while retaining the low ground pressure, agility and low-impact operation characteristic of Jarcrac machines.
The development of the new machine platform has focused on taking the compact forest machine concept to a new level. In addition to the operator environment, the CW60 features significant developments in hydraulic performance, frame design and serviceability.
The development work builds on Jarcrac’s more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing forest friendly machines, together with feedback received from customers and dealers across different markets.
One machine for harvesting and forwarding
The Jarcrac CW60 is an 8-wheel combi machine that enables both harvesting and forwarding to be carried out with the same machine. It has a load capacity of 6 tonnes.
The machine has been designed particularly for first and later thinnings, as well as for operations where efficient timber harvesting must be combined with low ground pressure, agility and minimal impact on the terrain and remaining trees.
The CW60 features an entirely new cab designed with particular emphasis on the operator’s working environment, ergonomics and visibility. The redesigned frame geometry has been developed to improve terrain following and stability, while the new hydraulic system provides increased performance and efficiency during operation.
Performance and new features have been achieved without unnecessarily increasing the size and weight of the machine. The objective has been to retain the advantages of a compact and lightweight forest machine while combining them with an even higher level of operator comfort and performance.

More power through energy recovery
The CW60 presented at FinnMETKO is equipped with a Palms 5.75 crane, a KESLA 16RH harvester head and the new KESLA powerB hydraulic accumulator system.
KESLA powerB stores energy generated by load variations in the hydraulic system in a hydraulic accumulator connected to the pressure line. The stored energy is then released when the harvester head’s power demand is at its highest, such as during sawing and feeding.
The system makes it possible to utilise energy that would otherwise go unused and provide additional power during critical work phases without increasing engine power. The stored energy is immediately available, improving the response of the harvester head functions. At the same time, the system helps smooth the load on both the hydraulic system and the engine while improving fuel efficiency.
Commercial availability in 2027
Field validation of the CW60 will continue after its FinnMETKO debut as part of the final development of the production model. Commercial availability of the Jarcrac CW60 is planned to begin during the first half of 2027.
World premiere at FinnMETKO
The Jarcrac CW60 will be presented to the public for the first time at FinnMETKO 2026 in Jämsä, Finland, from 3–5 September 2026.
Visitors can discover the new CW60 and the rest of the Jarcrac machine range at Jarcrac’s exhibition stand 826. Jarcrac machines will also be demonstrated in operation at demonstration area 800.
